TUPE

The Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations are as complicated as their name suggests.  

Still a potential minefield for employers despite the introduction of new Regulations which are intended to simplify this area of the law and will ensure that, with limited exceptions, TUPE will apply to all service provision changes.

It remains the case that expert advice in this area is not just advisable but essential if claims are to be avoided.
